I had sex 7 days prior to feeling what I believe to be ovulation pain, could I still be in with a chance?

With my firstborn, I fell pregnant after having sex once at the end of my period which I was shocked about and was completely unplanned. I have been TTC recently and have been having sex around OV pains etc as in days prior but with no luck. I thought I’d try one shot at the beginning of the month towards the end of my period to see if that works but I’m now feeling ovulation pains 7 days later. Was I too early? My partner is away so no chance to try again for a while. Just want some hope. I am wondering if anyone ever feels OV pains days after actually OV’ing?

Can’t offer much comfort except that any sex is better than none for ttc! You could be a bit off in your calculations, your body might be mucking about this month - it’s all still to play for. Best of luck and I hope your wait is over soon.

Very unlikely.
