Help please.... im slightly confused with how to count how long my cycle is. Do i start from the first day of my period ending the day before the next one arrives??

This is how i have counted in the past but just looking back at my dates since January i seem to have a mixture of a 29, 28 & 26 day cycle. Im very confused and this is only my first month of TTC.

You've got it right. Your cycle varies, that's all.

Your bang on the money, just varied! If it helps at all, the 2 part of your cycle (luteal phase) after ovulation rarely differs each month so it is your day of ovulation that is not fixed.

That may help a little in pin-pointing your fertile times.
