Evap or Positive

I know I am extremely early with testing however I am 7DPO and the two week wait is killing me. I did a pink dye test and it came back with negative and a faint line (thought this was dye) and then I've done a clear blue early and I've got another faint line. Are these evap lines? The red dye one came up with a faint line straight away and the blue was at the end of the 15 mjns

P.S you will need to zoom in for the red one. I do see a really really faint line.

I think you need to wait a few more days and re test.

I’m sorry OP I don’t see a line on the pink dye and the Clear Blue is an evap. 7DPO is honestly too early to test anyway, I know it’s hard but put the tests down at least for a few days- even if you are pregnant it’s really too soon for a reliable result, don’t torture yourself x

Hi everyone, is it possible to get a positive from an ovulation test?

I'm due on my period in 4 days.

Hey this isn’t a positive ovulation test. It’s extremely faint. It needs to be the same or darker than the control line
(not sure if you are asking in general that’s all)

@Abbie3g Heloo, I agree with Butterflygirl23, if you were testing for your LH surge, it would be a long way from positive at the moment as the test line needs to be at least as dark, if not darker to signify the surge. That said, you probably know that already and in response to your question can an ovulation test show pregnancy, yes it can because the chemical makeup of LH and typed pregnancy hormone HCG are very similar. However, an ovulation test is almost certain not to indicate a possible pregnancy until after your period is due at the earliest so you may want to try either testing now with an early test kit or waiting until just after your period is due if using a non early indication test kit.
As a point of interest, LH tests will often show a darker result around a week before a period is due and this is because of a mid luteal phase estrogen surge which occurs around that time to assist implantation (I think). It doesnt mean that implantation will definitely occur though x

Yeah that makes sense. I just wanted to know what the chances were could an ovulation test pick up pregnancy. I'm really struggling with the two week wait. I'm due on in 4 days and currently have a couple of twingy cramps and I'm pretty sure I'm not pregnant so I just did an ovulation test because I've used all my actual tests 🙈 I am a sucker for torturing myself. I know it will happen one day. I am the control freak type. I know I shouldn't keep testing but that's just me lol

I completely get you. There are a lot of us on here who feel the tww pain regularly. I have just started mine. I will be temping for around three days to confirm rise and thus ovulation and then I will try and forget about it until it's time to test. I'm on prednisone so that's likely to mask any pregnancy symptoms. I will still threat though :)

I wouldn’t retest with a digital tomorrow. Wait 5-7 days and see if the numbers go up on the digital.
