I was just wondering what peoples different experiences were of implantation bleeding. I find the whole thing so confusing.
I normally have very light periods that last around 1-2 days sometimes but normally up to 3. I used to have intense cramping but over the last year that seems to have gone away thankfully. My cycle is between 25-31 days long but typically 27-28 days. My app predicted it on day 28 this month.
TMI warning:
I did TTC this month, then at 12 DPO I had cramping around lunchtime which went away. Then 13 DPO, which was the expected first day of my period and day 28 of my cycle I had intense cramping that was persistent in the morning. It was intense but quite dull and not like cramping I’ve experienced before which normally breaks me out in a cold sweat. My period then started, which was 3 spots fresh red blood. I inserted my menstrual cup around 10 and when I removed it around 4pm it was only a quarter full only with a browny, almost purple colour blood. After that I’ve had pink spotting only or nothing since yesterday.
This morning I have had some more pink spots, no stains in underwear and a little bit of mild cramping which in itself is strange.
This month I have been incredibly exhausted - coming home and sleeping for two hours after work everyday. I’ve also been really emotional, welling up at passers-by for no good reason. I did wonder if this was pregnancy but then my period came. I have done tests but they are all negative.
Now I am confused. I am also just in that overthinking headspace. I’m due to start IVF next month and really don’t want to have to do it so I think I might just be trying to convince myself.
what are others experiences of implantation bleeding and how long after this did you test positive?
