I'm currently 1DPO and in the dreaded 2 week wait window, anyone else? ☺️

Hi all,

Decided to stop lurking. TTC #2, first month of trying. Currently 11dpo, AF due on Friday (I normally have a 12 day luteal phase). Did an early CB on Monday which was negative but I am convinced I am pregnant. My areolas have got bigger which happened with my 1st too and just generally sore. Waiting to test again until Saturday so I don't spend all the £s on tests! Good luck to you all <3

This sounds so positive. I also feel you with the hunger and tiredness! I was so hungry last night I had to get out of bed at 10.30 and get some crackers. Knew I couldn’t sleep that starving! Also had to have a lay down at lunch as feel knackered, I don’t drink caffeinated coffee anymore but had to have one today. Also feeling warm flushes a lot which I’ve noticed as I’m quite a cold girl. Fingers crossed for us both x

I'm hoping that the BFP will come in a couple days. I've been checking my cervix too and it is higher than it usually is, and I also usually get spotting before AF and there is nothing!!

@Tee1503your symptoms also sounds super positive!
I also had a few warm flushes now that you mention it. I’m also constantly burping (gross!) 🤣
@souiiii find it quite cool that you’re checking your cervix. I always tell myself I should try and learn all its different positions through my cycle and then I forget to do it consistently so now I have no idea what normal for me feels like!

Honestly I only remember when I'm close to being on and only know what it tends to be like when AF is on her way. This is the first month where it has been high and had really watery CM

Stupidly tested this morning at 8dpo and was bfn of course. Feel like this is the first month my cycle has felt back to normal since my MC in December so can’t help hoping this is our month. Should wait until AF is due but I know I’ll probably cave and test again on Friday.

So sorry 😔 I will be right beside you tomorrow evening when she comes for me. I just want to bleed now and move on!!

A lot of trial and error! I squat down and then have a feel. It feels slightly different to the walls and can see if it is high for you by how far the finger goes in before feeling it. It took a while for me to get the hang of it

Although now my cervix feels harder and now have a little bit of spotting. Made me burst into tears. I think I'm out this month.

Thank you. I feel you,Same here its pretty upsetting. I'm about 7 dpo I tested this morning with and frer and of course negative and I know AF is on way as I get very specific symptoms. So out for another month it's so shit

@souiii I stopped checking my cervix position as it’s really unreliable and can change from being soft and high to low and hard really quickly! I had a soft cervix and high with no spotting like two days before AF on cycle 2 and thought it was my month and checked again before bed and it had dropped and the spotting was there and it felt hard. I did had a high soft cervix with my first chemical but with my second one it was medium high and medium soft / firm. I’ve read that some ladies say they’ve had a soft high cervix and not been pregnant and also had a low hard cervix and still been pregnant. Hormones will make your cervix move and hormones fluctuate each month and from person to person so it’s so unreliable. Sorry you feel you are out this month, I am too & AF will arrive for me tomorrow night for sure. X

@souiii that's so disappointing :( Keeping fingers crossed for you either way. And if AF comes, I hope it comes quickly so you can move on to the next cycle.

@Michelle292 7dpo is still really early to test. You might not have even implanted yet. But you know your body best. Hopefully you get your BFP sooner rather than later.

Im 8DPO and have had brown/red spotting for the last 2 days. Sometimes a lot, sometimes next to nothing but still there.
this happened for a full week prior to AF last month and hoped it would be better this time. It’s so frustrating!

I'm 10 maybe 11 DPO max and testing BFN so far on FRER tests. AF due Saturday am probably out but will try one more test on Sat.

@NiftySheep Your symptoms sound promising! We're on the same timeline let's see if we can hold out until Satuday... 🙈

Can I ask anyone who has got BFP before, how soon before/after your positive test did you notice an increase in CM or what was your experience otherwise? I know it varies for everyone but this is common to increase
