April 2025 TTC 2 week wait support group

I'm currently 1DPO and in the dreaded 2 week wait window, anyone else? ☺️

@Butterflygirl23 I'm roughly 5/6 dpo too.

Hard to concentrate at work. But once the weekend gets here we'll be busy with family so that's good. Aiming to test on Tuesday as that will be at least 12dpo by my estimates.

@hollyhocks2I'm trying to wait as long as possible this time around so I won't be disappointed, I think I'm going to wait til Tuesday too or Wednesday when I'll be 14DPO if Aunt Flo hasn't made her appearance by then 🤞🏻

This is what I’m thinking. We’ve got a busy weekend Saturday to Monday so I’m going to hold off until next Tuesday to test if AF doesn’t appear. I’m not 100% sure when I’m due as my cycle from my miscarriage to my first AF was 32 days but my cycles usually are 28/29 pre miscarriages but as I know i ovulated later I’m guessing it’ll arrive later so next Wednesday Thursday maybe

Sorry it's this is a bit heavy to launch into talking about previous losses but I've just been reading about chemical pregnancy as I've heard it a lot on here but wasn't really clear on the definition. Am now wondering if my first miscarriage was technically a chemical pregnancy as I didn't make it to 6 weeks before bleeding started. The article i read says 50% of pregnancies don't make it past 5 weeks! I'm quite shocked. Makes me rethink testing early. Would love to know people's thoughts on it all. I'm torn between wanting to have all available information at hand, and protecting myself from more disappointment.

@hollyhocks2this is what I’ve always thought. My first miscarriage was last October and I began bleeding at 5w3d but I went through the epu and they confirmed a miscarriage! And my pregnancy tests never got lighter took awhile for my body to flush the pregnancy out and my hcg levels to drop! Took 6 weeks

i think it’s also why you get told to test a week after your period is due but who the heck can wait that long lol because I surely can’t 😂

Well same for me @Butterflygirl23 I also went to EPU and they never described it as chemical. I guess a chemical is still a type of miscarriage, just v early.
My next question - does any one else's DP not really understand what this process is like for us? I have no chill and he just wants to be so laid back about it all!

My partner says I only want him when I’m ovulating 😂🙈 which isn’t true of course (he does joke saying that though )but I don’t think he realises how important it is to BD around the time you need too.

@hollyhocks2 I haven't had a chemical myself, that I know of, but I've discussed this with friends. I would imagine a lot of us have had chemicals but we put it down to AF being late cause maybe we weren't actively trying or didn't test. I think that's why it's best to wait but it's so hard to do that!

If I’m not pregnant this month then il be shocked lol. I’ve been sick every morning for the past 4 days (I had sickness a week before my af was due with my daughter) so I’m really holding onto hope this time round again

@Butterflygirl23 that sounds very encouraging!! I've never had symptoms so early, amazing. They say you are more fertile in the first 3 months after a miscarriage, don't they.
@SureLook I'm sure you're right about women sometimes having them without knowing.

To be honest with you guys, I've been feeling a bit low the last few days, I guess TTC again is bringing up sad memories.

The whole process of TTC is so hard. I’m dying to be pregnant again but I know soon as I find out it’s going to be so so scary and the unknown is horrible. I’ve been on a weight loss journey the last month or so I’ve lost some weight, take my vitamins daily and my partner has been too. Just trying to help the process i guess

@Butterflygirl23sounds very promising that your having familiar symptoms!

I’m on CD 13 now & day 5 of flashing smiley now .. it’s annoying me 😂 and still no peak LH on easy@home.
I had pinching cramps on and off in the day in my sides, really strong low cramps last night like buzzing feeling which was just weird and light pink spotting when wipe all day (sorry tmi) maybe these are signs ovulation is happening soon.. anyone had similar? 🙃

@hollyhocks2 I'm the same. I'm trying not to be all consumed with it but it's hard. I really want to be pregnant again but I know I will be an anxious mess.

Thanks @SureLook and @Butterflygirl23 I feel validated reading that you feel the same. Hoping to have some days of feeling more positive and calm about things soon. Thinking to book a massage!

I do take heart from the fact that I know several women who have had babies after miscarriage, and others who have had babies in spite of endometriosis etc. No reason to think it won't happen for all of us too.

@mummm2 I can't say I've experienced exactly what you describe, but spotting mid cycle yes. Keep notes and then you can see if it tallies with everything else. More signs of ov can only be a good thing for you!

@mummm2 I’ve heard lots of people have ovulation spotting so it could be that!

@hollyhocks2 I see most people class chemicals as ones that don’t really progress on tests and bleeding happens soon after, but I don’t know the actual correct description either!

Im currently 6dpo, I had some really sharp stabbing pains in my side last night where I had my tube removed. Im hoping it’s just scar tissue causing it, I didnt feel anxious until now 🥲

Hi everyone, nice to have you here! I'm feeling a bit better today, talking things out in real life as well as here has helped. Definitely feel more calm. Maybe the sunshine helped too.
