Has anyone had a successful transfer when taking antihistamines before and after transplantation? I have had 2 failed fresh embryo transfers and doing am doing a FET in a few weeks. Each transfer I stopped taking the AH, I am now wondering if the inflammation from the hives stops implantation or could my body be rejecting the embryo because it sees it as foreign. I am also wondering if taking steroids would help transplantation by keeping down inflammation. Any insight would be greatly appreciated, thanks for reading.

You can take a pregnancy safe antihistamine. In general you don't have to stop taking your regular medication during ivf or transfers. To be honest I think most antihistamines are safe during pregnancy but I think it comes down to what you think is right for you and your body during pre pregnancy and possible pregnancy.

Thanks for your input, my instinct tells me to take them also thinking of taking prednisone. Not an easy decision, hopefully it will be the right one🤞
