Did Caborgoline or similar help anyone ttc?

Hi Guys,

I am on Caborgoline for high prolactin, in and around 1000, on 3 occasions. I have periods usually 28-33 days. Ovulate according to opks, day 18-21, unless under extreme stress. Luteal phase is usally 10-11 days.

Did anyone find any positive changes on the medication and did it help ttc?

Hoping for some women who were in a similar situation and have good news. Trying for 10 cycles on and off, after losing our daughter at 15 weeks. It only took 4 cycles to. Oncieve with her. I am 36 and amh is on lower side. Need good newsn

I have had issues with prolactin for nearly 20 years now (I have a lot of autoimmune issues, Addisons, lupus, Sjogrens, all sorts). My prolactin levels were initially around 4000 and I never had periods. This was when I was around 22. I was put on cabergoline and over about 18 months the levels came down and I was able to conceive my dd (now 21). After having her for some reason I can’t remember I stopped the cabergoline and it wasn’t until I wanted to conceive my son I went back on it again - 10 years later. He took around 2 years to conceive, but I think some of that was dh related (different dad to dd, he had low sperm count). So not sure whether that was down to my issues or his.

10 cycles isn’t very long with prolactin issues.

today i’ve just had a private blood test results which showed my prolactin was 1048.
i’ve been TTC for 15 months- i had a ectopic pregnancy in feb 24 (lost my left fallopian tube) and a chemical in nov.
i was diagnosed with under active thyroid in may and started on levo but have only in the last 4 months had it under control.
i have periods between 32-34 days and tend to ovulate between day 16-18 too!
i’m so desperate for a baby and being a midwife feel like i have no escape.
I am sorry to hear about your daughter and can’t imagine how hard it’s been❤️
