What scans are normally done in the lead up to a natural FET?

I’m abroad at the moment and my clinic has agreed that we can do a FET this month even though the earliest I can come for a scan is Day 12 of my cycle.
I know normally there’s scans on day 1-2 and days 7-9 of the cycle… these will essentially be skipped. Can something be overlooked? What do they usually look for? Is there a risk to doing a natural FET without those scans?

On a natural cycle my clinic likes to start tracking ovulation by day 8 of the cycle and this is done with blood tests and a scan. This happens every second day until there is a peak. My concern for you is depending on your personal cycle you may already have ovulated by the time you have your first scan and you could potentially have to have the fet cancelled as they wouldn't be able to pin point exactly when ovulation occurred but your clinic might be fine to continue and all will work out. Can you track ovulation where you are in the lead up to heading back to the clinic?

Yes! I’ve been told to do OPKs twice a day and let my clinic know if there’s a peak

My other suggestion was going to be opks. That might get you out of trouble and give you a little guideline on what's happening.
