Transvaginal TTC

Hello, we have been trying to conceive for a year. My doctor has referred me for a transvaginal ultrasound to check for any issues with ovaries etc before they will do a referral to fertility. Has anyone had one & if so how long was you waiting roughly? or has anyone gone private instead? If it’s long wait times we are looking at paying private around Sheffield/Rotherham/Doncaster (if you have any recommendations)

I’ve had one, as part of investigations. Referral time can’t really remember, couple months perhaps. Not excessive

Not sure of prices but I had pregnancy scans at Miracle Inside in Leeds, they do fertility bloods and scanning also.

I had this scan done a few months ago. I initially was given a wait time of 2months but then got moved up the list due to cancellations so only waited about a month.

Thank you! They was meant to refer me a few months ago in January and the temp doctor never did it - also booked the wrong bloods not hormones. My partners had all his tests so think we’re going to just bite the bullet and pay private for mine 🥲

I waited 2 or 3 months.

I’ve just had an update that the hospital rejected the referral but the doctor isn’t in for another 2 weeks so sent it to someone else to review why 😞
