Friday the 21st of March i had a positive pregnancy test followed along by heavy bleeding and cramping. The bleeding persisted for 5 days. The following monday i did a test and it was negative, my mum seems to think this was a chemical pregnancy. I’m not sure what was happening but it was a horrible time. Me & my partner are trying for a baby, it has shown on my calendar that this saturday is my highest fertile window lol so we will be busy! Someone please give me some hope in this and anyone had similar happen to them?

Edit will i have to wait for my next period before trying again? I’m just so confused

I’m so sorry for your loss. But yes, sounds like a chemical pregnancy which is a type of miscarriage. We tried straight again after chemicals because I just took the bleed as my period.

Oh okay, yeah i thought it was a chemical pregnancy :(
It did seem like a period to me, so iv just put it on my calendar as one so i know which day i will be ovulating again, fingers crossed it’s successful this time

Good luck, sending baby dust!

If you’re looking for hope, I had 4 chemicals last year after a missed miscarriage so 5 losses in total. We’re not out of the woods yet as still super early but I’m currently 5 weeks 🤞🏻
