Implantation bleeding? Photo

Hi, I’m 8dpo today and had some light bleeding when going to the toilet this morning there’s was 2 dots of blood in the toilet and the photo when wiping. Could this be implantation bleeding? Sorry if the pics a bit tmi! I’ve been off the pill 6 months and my period has never come before at least 12dpo. I had a few little twinges in my left side last night but didn’t think much of it. I slept really bad and woke up loads so I took my bbt the first time I woke up and it was 35.89 and I took it again when I woke up this morning and it was 36.66, now I’m wondering if that first number could have been an implantation dip? Did a test this morning and it was negative.

Just been to toilet again and had some more light spotting this time brown 🤔

No one can tell you for sure but it looks like the start of an early period unfortunately
any implantation bleeding I’ve experienced had been after my bfp- everyone is different though.

@2025babyfever Thanks I didn’t get anymore after this so definitely not the start of my period. Tests are still negative though so probably not implantation either.

I used to get this on and off from 7dpo, stopping and starting, before period comes full force on its due date. Angus cactus has sorted it out though

My implantation bleeding was all over the place. It was bright pink, never red, and then very thick and dark brown for the most part. It lasted a couple of weeks.

Unfortunately, that’s not implantation bleeding. That’s light bleeding before your period shows up. Your bbt suggests that you haven’t ovulated yet. It can throw strange numbers if you haven’t slept well. If you’ve ovulated then your bbt will stay above 37C until your period is due and then it’ll lower again. It’ll stay high if you’re pregnant.

@Girltoddler Thank you, I have definitely ovulated my BBT is always on the lower side not everyone has to be over 37 to confirm ovulation, before ovulation it was around 35.80 and it shot up to 36.60 after and has stayed around that since, just yesterday I had a few mixed readings as I slept badly today it has gone back up to 36.70.

I'm 7dpo today and had two "strings" of blood in the toilet and the palest brown on my tissue. I wouldn't normally spot this early (1 week to AF) so I'm in a similar boat. Please keep me posted, I feel so deflated as I didn't have implantation bleeding with my first.

@LauraFTM Mine also went really pale brown after this yesterday afternoon and I haven’t had any since. My test was negative today so I haven’t got high hopes but of course will keep you updated.

Yeah I haven't tested yet, I may try tomorrow morning but pretty sure I'm just torturing myself 🤣 my heart sunk as soon as I saw it so I wish I could just accept it hasn't happened this month but there's that tiny hope it's implantation and I find myself searching forums like I'm crazy 🫠🫠🫠

@LauraFTM Yeah exactly the same here 🤣 I wish I could wait until it’s late to test to save the heartbreak of seeing a negative but I just don’t have the patience lol. Fingers crossed for you x

This is identical to my implantation bleeding which I always got precisely nine days after intercourse.
obviously everybody is different but an answer to your question. It does look like mine.

@8lue8ird Thank you I know that doesn’t mean it’s the case for me but that gives me some hope I’m not out just yet :). I would have had intercourse nine, eight and seven days before this. Did your bleeding last long?

from what I remember with all of my three, implantation bleeding lasted maybe one or two wipes on about two toilet visits and that was it

10dpo today and still negative tests, haven’t had any spotting since this so that was 2 days ago now. Due on Sunday so we shall see. Have you tested yet?

How are you getting on? I've been spotting heavier so I think my period is just coming early 💔 you may not be out, with my first I didn't get a positive untill 12dpo!

Oh no you’re not out until it arrives though! 🤞🏻 I still haven’t had anymore spotting, 11dpo today and test was negative again this morning. Feel like if this was implantation bleeding 3 days ago I’d at least have a faint positive now? 😕

You never know!! Especially if you aren't spotting anymore. My body is playing tricks with me today, my spotting was quite heavy yesterday so was expecting my period today but now I've stopped altogether 🤦🏼‍♀️ I'm doing everything not to take another test and relive the heart sinking negative 🙃

I just got a faint line and now I'm reeeeally freaking out!!! I've had an ectopic pregnancy before and it started with a lot of spotting... now I'm freaking out but omg I'm possibly pregnant?! Thought I'd post here incase anyone comes across these 🤣🤣

No I’m holding out. Due my period today or tomorrow so just waiting it out.

I think I'm about 9dpo! I'm really scared because with my first successful pregnancy I had zero spotting, didn't get a positive until 12dpo. I know they say all pregnancies can be different but still makes it scary!!! But today my spotting has basically stopped. I also have sore boobs which I had with my first. Ahhhhhhh 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

Ahhh amazing that’s a good line for 9dpo! I wouldn’t worry about it being different and just enjoy it ❤️❤️❤️
