Can chronic BV cause permanent infertility?!

Hello lovely ladies. I posted on here before about a faint positive (wasn’t pregnant), but I wanted to awkwardly ask; I suffer from chronic BV which comes 3/4 times a Month sometimes lasting over a week. Doctors Havnt managed to pin point what it is and I am so worried it’s causing me infertility and could possible have permanent damage on me! Can BV cause permanent infertility??!! I have been trying for over 2 years to have a baby unfortunately. Any help is so appreciated.

I don't know regarding BV, but if you are under 35 and TTC 12mths, your GP should be doing a D21 blood test then referral to infertility. If you are over 35, then TTC 6mths is the threshold.

You said you've been TTC 2yrs. What tests have you had so far?

I've had chronic BV for as long as l can remember.. until 16 months ago l started taking these ( see pic).. nor had one episode scince.
P.S I've two daughters conceived during me having BV .

The bacteria that causes BV is also linked to pelvic inflammatory disease which can cause fertility issues.
