Possible implantation bleeding?

Hey, i'm on month 4 of TTC. I normally get my period around 13/14 DPO (normally exactly 2 weeks after i ovulated) I am on 9/10DPO currently (had positive digital ovulation test on the evening of the 19th and whole of 20th of March). I just went to the toilet and had brown discharge when i wipe (sorry TMI). Could this be implantation bleeding? my periods are normally like clockwork and i do sometimes get brown bloody discharge the day before or the day of my period but this seems a bit early. I have done a pregnancy test and its negative so maybe it is my period.. how long after implantation bleeding would you expect to get a positive pregnancy test? Thanks in advance :)

Could be. I had similar with my DD3 and thought my period had started 4/5 days early, but nothing more came of it, then got my positive test the day my period was due.

Thanks for the reply. Guess time will tell, i have been quite stressed with work so maybe its coming early but it's quite abnormal for me. I'm having some mild cramping too which again is weird because i don't normally get cramping until i get red blood, just hoping AF doesn't arrive tomorrow.

What i learned during my ttc journey is that suddenly your body starts doing all sorts of random things. I had spotting at similar dpo as you maybe twice or 3 times and it turned out to be implantation bleeding once. But I knew it was implantation because I had a lot of cramps and sharp pains. After spotting hcg can be detectable about 2 days later

Thank you for your reply , yes it’s really confusing to know whether it’s my period or not. I am still having cramping today but spotting seems to be slowing down, spotting is now brown / tinges of pink which again is weird for me as when I do get brown discharge before my period it is only brown then followed by red blood the same day or the day after. I will do a pregnancy test tomorrow evening if I don’t get my AF today or tomorrow .. trying not to get my hopes up.

Did your cramping feel like period pains or different ?
