Hey! So I’ve had one round of the depo, I’m due my 2nd tomorrow but Friday night I noticed unusual cramping. Then from Saturday onwards (today is now Thursday) I’ve been severely fatigued, nauseated, tender and very swollen breasts, urine frequency, constipation and back pain. I was pregnant 3 times in 2023 which ended in early loss but everytime I was pregnant I had symptoms very early. I know what my PMS feels like and this 100% feels like pregnancy yet I’m still getting BFN. Is it all in my head? 🤣 obviously haven’t had a period since December so no idea what DPO I might be but these symptoms have been persistent for 6 days now. Any advice because it’s driving me crazy, I’m convinced my body is telling me I’m pregnant but the facts don’t lie, the tests are telling me I’m not. Should I just carry on as normal and wait another 8 days to test again?? Any advice would be helpful! ❤️

When you have your depo especially your first initial depo the nurse should be asking you:
1st day of your last period.
Period history: regular/irregular
History PCOS etc
Family History
Any risks you think you may be pregnant.
Cycle day

if your was unsure of your last period they would ask for you to do a pregnancy test foremost and possibly (not always) ask for you to come back when you have had a period.

If you are unsure you should be taking yourself to the GP & booking an appointment for the nurse.

Hope this helps 🫶🏼

just to add… if your due your next drop (12th week) your body will naturally be trying to do what it wants to do as the hormone injection will be easing off if that makes sense, this might be why your getting symptoms.
