TTC 1 Year Plus 🤍

Thought I’d start a thread for those of us who’ve gone a year plus TTC! (whether it’s first baby or fifth!)

Some background - I’m 28 and have been TTC baby number four for a 13 months now. Find TTC quite isolating especially taking ‘longer than average’ so would love to chat on the journey 🥰

Im heading onto 16 months ttc. Im 36 and so far all our testing has come back normal. Its incredibly frustrating and very isolating.

I'm going into my 11th month now, so joining you at the 1year+ soon. Actually, we'll start IVF in a month or two if I'm not pregnant before. I'm 38. All normal at my end but my partner has low morphology (he stopped cycling one month ago, so hopefully that will improve our chances in 1-2 months...).

Are you considering fertility treatments or will you just keep trying naturally?

This is my first one so it's also awkard and weird at work and in personal life as people often ask if we're going to have kids and we don't want to raise expactations by talking about it with everyone...

It's been 2.5 years this month. We've had to pause for a few months due to surgery. I hate waiting, every extra month is difficult. With my first it took 1.5 years. I visited a friend with her newborn in hospital and exactly 12 months later it was me with the newborn 🥰 I wish I could say a year from now I'll have a baby.
