LH tests getting lighter is this normal?

First month of using LH testing strips so just trying to get to grips with it all 😆 (not using an app just going off what I see)

Starting testing with first urine cycle day 8, every test has had a second line but fainter than the control line

Yesterday (day 12) i started with EWCM so also did an evening test and again tested this morning but these lines seem to be the lightest ive had so far! Is it normal to go lighter before getting a positive?

Hi! It’s best to not use first morning urine but 2nd around 10am after 1-2hours hold! I also recommend the Premom app for starting out as it makes things a little bit easier to digest xx

You also might not ovulate until later in your cycle, I don’t until around the 16th/17th day and my tests are basically white until then xx
