Do day 3 embryos work?

I have just one frozen embryo left - a day 3 8cell . None of my other cycles were successful. I keep thinking about extended culture to try and get this one to day 5? But my doctor says it’s better to do a day 3 transfer.

I’ve only ever heard of day 5 transfers working. Do I have any Hope with a day 3? 😞

Mine was a day two 4 cell transfer, strapping almost 6 footer now.
5 day transfer wasn’t ever offered to me when I was doing ivf. Have hope!

I also did IVF years ago when it was more common to have a day 3 transfer. I have two children from day 3 transfers, one fresh and one frozen.
