Premom under scoring OPK?

I’ve just started tracking my ovulation again after a 3 year break and I feel like Premom is under scoring my tests? (See below) I’ve looked back at my older test results and MUCH lighter lines have been marked over 0.95 - 1.0. I’ve tried changing the lighting but the results never change and it’s driving me mad

I thought it was just me. I started tracking ovulation on Wednesday 3 weeks after a mmc and my reading are very similar to yours. I’ve looked back over previous cycles and I’ve only ever had readings of 0.5 -.0.7 either before or after my surge, they’ve been sat there consistently for 3days now with no sign of a peak

Have you actually been lining the test up with the guide when putting the tests in?

_nellie_ · 21/03/2025 14:00

@Mrsttcno1Yes, I’ve tried uploading all different ways, normally my app automatically takes the photo/ reading but I’ve also manually lined the tests up but the reading never changes. I just feel like it’s showing at least a 0.95 - 1

@Sugarcube84its so frustrating but Premom still says I’m due to ovulate today with these results

Looking at those, the left line isn't as dark as the right (by the smallest tiniest amount) which is what the app is probably picking up on. If you slide left you can fiddle with it and mark it as high or change the sliding scale x

I feel your pain and I’m in that post miscarriage limbo constantly wondering have I ovulated/will I ovulate or is my period going to appear.

It works by looking at the contrast of the lines. The number is a ratio of the 2 colours. From what I can tell, none of the test lines are darker than the control line which is what you’d need for 1.0
