When to dtd

This evening I had a lot of EWCM which is good. My question is, when should I have sex to have the best chance of falling pregnant? I’m very confused. I am on day 15 of my cycle (ranges between 30-32 day cycle). Thank you

So was yesterday not your ovulation day if you have EWCM? I would of thought DTD today would be good, but I'm no expert! I just did it the two days before and the day of, and am now waiting to see.. Hopefully someone who knows more will be along to help soon!

Ewcm is most likely a sign you're in your fertile window, so dtd today and every other day for the next 5-7 days.

Thank you so much. Does EWCM mean about to ovulate? Would the day before EWCM be good and then today and Thursday?

@claireday03 yes ewcm is usually a sign ovulation is on the way. And yep those days sound good, can't hurt to just dtd as much as you can in the next week! Do you use ovulation tests? These can help you pinpoint ovulation a bit better.

I do them yes and sometimes they work and other times they don’t seem to show anything. Quite frustrating but how accurate are they?

Just taken an ovulation test and there’s barely a line. Not a great sign I guess? I have the worst cramps yesterday so thought today was the ovulation day

@claireday03 Some people can have nothing and then up to positive in one day and back to nothing the same day so it can be quick! But they're not for everyone, probably best to just dtd every other day if you can from around cycle day 10 to cycle day 20 (assuming your ovulation day will be somewhere between there but it varies for everyone!)

Agree with @Wednesdayonline My peaks happen within a space of 40 minutes. Blink and you miss it, it’s so fast.

I’ve also learned that I start to get EWCM about 3 days before I ovulate. So as soon as I saw it we would DTD each day for 5-7 days. I’ve been pregnant 4 times (3 losses, sadly, and currently 13 weeks with pregnancy #4), so it’s worked for us! But every body is different, so spend some time finding out what is normal for you :)

Best sign is to f do it when you see ewcm, this is the peak fertile window and allows sperm to be sat waiting at the right place
