Hey guys!

hope you don’t mind me jumping on!

I’m currently 7 dpo after MMC last month, and couldnt stop myself from testing thismorning (BFN, ooobbbbvvvviously!🙄🤦🏼‍♀️)

I dont feel any different other than a few pinches here and there today. Telling myself I can hold out til Saturday or Sunday to test again but I dont know how realistic that is😂 I keep telling myself it isnt going to happen 🫠

baby dust to you all❤️

x

Welcome lovely 🥰 I’m the same I’m 5DPO today and just want to test already! 🤣

I’m sorry to hear of your MMC lovely and sending love and baby dust 🤍✨

It’s the worst because you want to scratch the itch but you know you’ll just disappoint yourself😭 my test thismorning has convinced me i’m out even though biologically that makes no sense and we’ve done this all before!🤦🏼‍♀️

thank you! Hope to see some amazing updates in a week or so🤞🏼❤️

We always count ourselves out before we even test don’t we (think it’s a way of protecting ourselves) but always have that little bit of hope 🙏 lets hope it’s a lucky thread for BFP’s ✨

hiya need your advice ladies?

DP has stated he wants to try this cycle for no.2 (i was originally waiting till may cycle to try as I would have been off mj for 2months by then)

But i have calculated and actually at the point of ovulation it would have been nearly 7 weeks that ive been off the injection and generally online it says - to be off it for a month and if u want to be extra cautious then 2months?

We have both been taking prenatals since end of Jan- but ive upped coq10 this month and cod liver oil as well

would i be better off waiting till next cycle or should i try this cycle?

Im 33 by the way and have a history of recurrent mc (will be on prog as used this for my son and preg was successful) also ive just got an internal promotion (so will it look bad if on the off chancs i get preg straight away??) not sure what to do as period is due to end at any moment

quite stressed wfh with my 4yr old and juggling work so probs wont happen anyway but my neighbour has scared me saying im a lot older/weigh a lot more even tho ive lost more (i mentioned my weight first btw!she was not rude) and so it could take a lot longer this time round!!

And im not so confident i will get pregnant first try this time round either or that it will stick...what would you do?

Littledot2 · 09/04/2025 16:27

@peanutForever only you can decide what you feel comfortable with, however I'd be keen to wait the recommended length due to the unknown risks to the foetus and not enough evidence on humans when taking MJ. To me one month early isn't worth taking that risk, but also no judgement if you do decide and feel ready 😘

jelliebean9 · 09/04/2025 16:32

Guys, I’m now mega confused. 11dpo today and I’ve had right back ache and cramps all day. I’ve been really off with my husband too for absolutely no reason, which is exactly how I was when pregnant with DS. Obvs definitely could just be PMS. As we all know, the mind loves to play tricks. But I’ve felt absolutely nothing, no cramps or emotions or anything, up until today. I reallllllllllly hope something is happening. Can you implant at 11dpo? Or is it more likely AF related 🤨

jelliebean9 · 09/04/2025 16:32

And I don’t have any tests in as I was going to wait until AF is actually due now 😆 as I get itchy fingers

That’s exciting, maybe it’s a sign to go and buy a test 🤭 If it’s implantation tho it wouldn’t show up on a test until 2-3 days. But I also wanna say stay strong and don’t test but I know I would cave in that situation haha.

I definitely need to hold out for Saturday then if it’s 2-3 days after implantation. I implanted later with my son, so it would make sense. I got negatives with him around 11 and 12dpo. Right, I need to keep very busy until Saturday. I def thought I was out last night. So in hanging onto this little thread of hope for April 😂

SureLook · 09/04/2025 18:08

@houwseevryweekend sorry about your loss. It seems there's a lot of us here that have suffered losses.

@devma sorry about your loss.

@peanutForever I'd lean on the side of caution, too. The research must suggest two months is the safe zone. If it was me I wouldn't take the risk. Maybe you could talk to them about the reasons why they suggest that?

@jelliebean9 I implanted quite late in both of my pregnancies. Around 11/12dpo and had positive tests with my implantation bleeding so there's still hope 🤞🏻

SureLook · 09/04/2025 18:09

After all that I finally got a line on my OPK 😂 I know it's not positive but they have been completely stark white up until now!

How are you finding the process of insemination? Is it something you can face doing regularly or not really?

OPKs track a rise in lutenising hormone which increase before ovulation so a peak in LH means you will probably ovulate in next 24-48hrs, so I guess that's why people use them to track. I've used them for last two months but think next cycle I'll just dtd every other day for a couple of weeks. I like to track just for the data really, to see how regular my cycles are and stuff.

I'm 8DPO today and I just have a feeling it's not happened this month. I think having such clear implanting cramping with my dd makes me think if I haven't felt that it's not gonna happen.

Thank you for your reply.

Husband managed to deliver 4 times last cycle. It's probably the most frequent in all his life! :)
Im proud of him, and we're both motivates to stick to it.
Unfortunately my cycle was short and I think we missed the time opportunity window, plus I've been unwell so maybe my body decided it wasn't this month.

It was only the first real try.

Thanks for explaining the tracking of ovulation. I've bought more tests to try more regularly this cycle.

Mouche85 · 09/04/2025 18:15

CheekyLittleD · 08/04/2025 22:29

Hello! I'm also a 40 year old TTC baby #1. Performance anxiety ED is a really tricky thing to navigate during a process that requires sex on schedule so you have my sympathies. Good luck with the insemination process.

Hope the best for you!

peanutForever · 09/04/2025 18:21

@SureLookyes now you can track properly and the line should get darker

@Littledot2@SureLookthanks for reassuring me, im going to side with caution 💯 - one extra month wont hurt!

plus we bulk bought prenatals on a subscription so would be a shame to waste those as they were pricey. Meanwhile i will track my cycle this month, support with seed cycling, and research what else i need to (to better my chances next cycle!) Hopefully being patient works in our favour

Yours looks exactly like mine. I know how you felt seeing that I felt the same this morning lol I think il ovulate Friday and get my peak tomorrow morning. I’m going to test the evening and see what’s what! Time to DTD tonight 😂 Glad you finally got a line x

SureLook · 09/04/2025 18:57

@peanutForever sounds like you've got it all covered!

@Butterflygirl23 that was my last test 🫠 we've DTD Sunday and Tuesday so another few goes might catch it 🤞🏻

Samsi17 · 09/04/2025 20:26

Reading everyone's updates, so sorry to all that AF arrived 😢
I'm cd 26 and due AF in 2 days, don't want to test before as it gets me so down when it's a BFN. Been ttc for a few months now but recently stopped breastfeeding so hoping that's going to help...

If you’ve bought the same test as me off Amazon then they aren’t as vibrant as the other ones, Step one or something they are called and same with their pregnancy tests, very faint line ( on early response ones) I had which turned vibrant lines on a FRER

F1boxbox · 09/04/2025 21:54

If you can afford to, the clear blue digital ovulation test are fantastic and so easy! That’s how I’ve managed to caught when I did ☺️

SureLook · 09/04/2025 22:06

@F1boxbox yes, One Step from Amazon. They're the ones I have. That is so good and interesting to know! I used them for my DD but never had a positive but obviously successfully conceived her 😂 thanks a million x

2Sugars2 · 10/04/2025 08:08

Arghhh my OPKs are still so low. Is it possible to miss your peak? Even if I've been testing twice a day? It's driving me insane! If I missed the peak I think it happened somewhere around CD11 or CD12.

Your CD 11 was so close to being positive so maybe you did miss it. Mine this morning looks like yours too but it only scored 0.65 so I’m trying not to drink too much for the next few hours and re test to see if it gets any darker

lauraxoxo · 10/04/2025 08:27

@2Sugars2 the first 2 months of tracking I peaked around CD12/13 last month didn’t peak til CD17. Maybe yours is just later this time x

2Sugars2 · 10/04/2025 10:06

@lauraxoxo @Butterflygirl23 thanks for getting back to me - those test results are from a week ago. I am currently CD20 and apart from that higher result on CD11 they have all been pretty low 😩 My cycles are usually regular 28-30 days long. So I'm thinking the most logical thing is that my peak has been and gone in a flash and I haven't caught it. Maybe next cycle I will add in a third test in the day time but I don't know if that seems a bit excessive 🤔

This was my December tracking when i conceived. I did 3 tests on day CD18 so I do think it’s worth doing 3 if you can x
