is this dark enough for ovulation?

Hi!

TTC number 3, but first two were happy accidents so this is our first month trying. Is this dark enough for a positive or does it still need to be darker?

for context this was with SMU and I’m CD13!

That definitely looks like a positive ovulation test to me anyways 😃

Usually the difference between the strongest line you can get and one this strong s is a matter of hours. Strength of the line is also dependant on the individual so I would consider this a positive and it's likely the strongest would have been sometime in the night or in the next 12 hours (different for everyone).

thank you! This is really helpful. Feel like I have no idea what I’m doing with these. So does that mean I should ovulate over the next couple of days? All my apps predict tomorrow

So personally I would say that's almost positive but not quite. When mine were like that I'd take another one 4-6 hours later, and normally then it would be positive. Ovulation normally happens 24-48 hours after that peak. I also did BBT to confirm ovulation when we successfully conceived, it was helpful as I realised that I ovulate later after the peak than my apps preducted by slapping on the standard 24 hour window.

Not quite your peak yet but well on the way. Nothing stopping you from DTD anyway though! I conceived mine 4 days before ovulation!

thank you! I’ll take another one this evening and see how that looks. We’ll just get at it as much as we can over the next few days, hard tho as I’m a paramedic and on nights this weekend.

If it gets darker this evening then I’ll count Saturday as my ovulation day and hope for the best! Feel so out of my depth with all of this considering I already have two kids😂
