Spotting - help & advice

I used to occasionally spot a couple of days before my period but not all the time.

Three cycles ago I had pale pink 11dpo and 12dpo which I hadn’t had before but got my period the following day. Last cycle I had it 12dpo and then got my period. GP didn’t seem concerned but this time I had it 8dpo - hoped it was implantation as it went away but then got a spot at 11dpo so think I must be out.

I am v worried as it didn’t use to happen like this and isn’t consistent - and this time seems v early… has this happened to anyone else? I do have a scan booked next week because have been ttc for a while but I don’t know how much they’ll be able to help with it.

I also wondered about low progesterone. I did get it tested day 21 and it was 28 - lab said anything above 20 was normal but I have seen other people say 30. It was 5 days after ovulation rather than 7 though that cycle so could have explained it too

I think that’s a tad low, BUT it’s notoriously difficult to get an accurate reading because of needing to do it at the right time. Between 5-7 days after ovulation is advised but still might not have measured it at the right time, so it’s hard to know.

mine has been 25, 28 and 32 if that helps
