Normal AF spotting but with BFP

Just wondering if anyone else spots between 7-5 days before their period, and when they got their BFP did the spotting still happen as normal that month? I spot around 7 days before AF which is usually just brown when I wipe, and I always assume I'm out that month.. or should I not assume this!?

I used to get this a lot and read it was caused by progesterone levels but that was just something I read online. Might be worth looking into just in case.

I'm sorry I don't remember if it happened the month I got BFP but I do know I thought I was out that month too until the day AF was due

My GP didn't seem too concerned but she took a swab and urine sample and these have come back normal, but I have read up about the progesterone thing too

1000mg august castus has stopped my spotting though- I was worried it meant low progesterone but mg bloods came back normal
