Possible implantation or something else?

Hi everyone, I was just looking for some advice, suggestions or similar experiences from anyone ☺️

I had a Hycosy procedure 14 days ago, and I am currently approx 8dpo (haven't tracked the last couple of months but I am pretty regular, my cycles are 26-29 days).

I had some light spotting for about 5 days after my procedure which then stopped. We dtd every other day during my predicted fertile period. Yesterday (7dpo) I had a random bleed, a small amount and then later some more but I would more describe this as browny discharge rather than blood (sorry tmi!)

I know no one can tell me for sure, but do you think it could be implantation? Or still from the hycosy? I would be a bit worried if it was still from the hycosy as bleeding is supposed to stop after a couple of days.

Spotting isn't normal for me at any point in my cycle.

I had spotting after too, the brown stuff a bit later, I assumed it was just a bit of a clear out. I wasn’t aware it wasn’t normal!

The timeline doesn’t sound right for implementation bleeding as that would occur around 14 days after ovulation and I wouldn’t have thought they would have done the procedure around the time of ovulation?

Hi @Fagli thank you for responding ☺️ yeh I fully expected the spotting for a day or two after but everywhere I look says it should only last a few days. Not 2 weeks?

Oh and I am not 14dpo I am only 8dpo today and the bleeding was yesterday. My Hycosy was 14 days ago which was about 5-6 days before my predicted ovulation ☺️ so confusing 😂

I thought implantation was anywhere between 6-12dpo? Or have I got that completely wrong?? 🤯

Sorry, I read implementation bleeding was around 12 days after ovulation, near when your period is due. It just seemed a bit early at 7 days, especially if you had the procedure 14 days ago as that would mean they would have done it 2 days past ovulation if you have bleeding now, which seems a bit close to ovulation working back. I had dark brown spotting through the month after mine. Maybe I misread your post! Sorry! Most evidence I could find that implementation bleeding is 10-14 days after ovulation.
