Pregnancy after MMC

We lost our first pregnancy to a MMC in late October at 10 weeks (baby was only measuring 5/6) we have now fallen pregnant again and my anxiety is through the roof as you can imagine, we got our positive using a clear blue weeks indicator on Friday last week, I also tested along side just a test strip, the first test strip is from the Friday which doesn’t really show any lines, then the next one is on the Sunday morning, then the Wednesday morning and the bottom test is from Thursday evening (I know I should of tested FMU) I just want to know opinions on if the line progression looks okay and if you can see it darkening as I fear I’ve got line eyes from all the looking at them. Just really looking for some reassurance that it looks like HCG is rising.

It’s definitely getting darker!! Congratulations 🥳

It’s progressing great!
I’m in the same position a MMC in February last year and now I’m 7w5d and my first scan is on Tuesday and I’m terrified of it.

It’s definitely getting darker. Don’t keep testing though because the hook effect started to kick in. Congrats.

I hope your scan goes well! Such an anxious time ❤️

@ThatKookyDreamer How are your tests looking?

SaltedPotato · 11/03/2025 22:33

Tests look darker. I know that it's easier said than done but a positive darker test doesn't always mean successful pregnancy. I say this from experience having been in your situation...twice. MMC at 10 weeks but nice strong tests each time. Just try and stay positive. Don't stress about tests and just enjoy the time you have with your baby now. I have a son now btw. We got there in the end. Wishing you all the best xxx

This was from yesterday morning, so still looking good, trying to not test again as it’s just making me stress more, just so terrified of history repeating itself. How did your scan go?

@ThatKookyDreamer I don’t think the picture uploaded unfortunately.
Scan went great, measuring right on track.

It’s there now, was awaiting approval.
Oh that’s so good! Great news!

@ThatKookyDreamer That’s a great line. I was just thinking yesterday and if I remember correctly those tests are bad at showing progression and often show lighter than other tests. I was logging my tests into the premom app where you log ovulation tests and the number was barely rising even with tests a couple days apart.
