confused about ewcm and ovulation

I was meant to ovulate last Sunday but this Sunday I had EWCM - almost certain EWCM not sperm as it stretched several inches. I thought I had had it last weekend though - is it possible to get EWCM twice a week apart?

are you taking temps? can't remember all ewcm details but it's not possible to ovulate more than once in a cycle. if you note mucus and take temps you get a better picture of what's going on.
having said that, my rule of thumb was always if you've got ewcm just go with it and get to it regardless!
