Spotting when period is due

Currently CD29, ovulated CD13 and expected AF yesterday (CD28). Since night time CD27 I’ve had some spotting. Assumed this was start of period but has come to nothing. I know it’s too late for implantation though I’ve had that in previous pregnancies.

Havent tested yet because I’m just not an early tester and the spotting is making me worry that if I am pregnant it won’t stick.

Just wondering if anyone’s experiences this and has an idea of possible causes?

I spotted for a few days before starting my period 2 days later than expected this time. But I had similar when I got my last BFP as well. Spotting in pregnancy isn't a bad thing (could be related to fibroids or a subchronic haematoma). Only way to know is test - it's definitely not too early to test now.
