I did the dtd during my fertile window on the 15th of Feb and im now having some odd symptoms, I am going to the Dr's next week, but in the meantime I wondered if anyone has had this before. Creamy white discharge in my pants, or clear when I wipe, my urine has turned yellow, the pharmacist said I don't have a uti, I have drank a lot thinking I could clear it out, sore boobs, heartburn, I feel a little bloated too and like a stitch type pain I bad on my right side last night and earlier today as well. I'm not walking round a lot so I don't understand that, but I just wondered if anyone else has had this and did it turn out you were pregnant or not? Thanks

Hi, it sounds like you are really worried about everything and that's completely normal. Honestly, I would stop symptom spotting and overthinking about everything. You have a doctors appointment booked. Try relax as much as you can until then. Until you get a professional opinion it's just going to be made up stuff in your head

I wish it was made up stuff in my head, I have two teenagers and with my son I had similar symptoms which is why j wanted others opinions.

Have you missed a period?

Sarahbelle25 · 24/02/2025 08:47

No, im due on any day now, but I haven't got my normal symptoms which is annoying, I like children but I'm not after being a mum again tbh, as mine are almost grown up.

If you're due any day now then I would just take a test to put your mind at rest either way.

It's hard to say with symptoms as every woman and every pregnancy is different - I've never had any symptoms before missing a period.

When I was pregnant with my daughter I didn't know for a while, but with my son I had lots of gastroenteritis type pains to the point the Dr prescribed me treatment for it, it turned out that was one of the first symptoms of me being pregnant with him

Definitely think a test is the way to go, at least then you'll know either way

I had most of what you described. I am pregnant!

I've found out I have a suspected uti, so I'm now on babysafe antibiotics for that, just incase. I'm not due my af till sometime next week, but I'm still having heartburn, tension type headaches and a pulling feeling in my stomach, I didn't think of this until now but with this uti I normally know I've got one as I'm diabetic it's normally bad within hours, all I'm getting from this is a darker urine no matter how much I drink. On Monday evening there was a very small amount of light pink blood on my toilet tissue, small enough to see,but not big enough for me to be concerned about or even think about until now, so I think I'm just gonna wait for af and see what happens. So far my urine hasn't got any lighter in colour. Not sure if you can see the blood as I haven't zoomed in too far. I'm also getting like a gurgling tummy hungry noise even though I'm not actually hungry and a pulling feeling. So I don't know what's going on, but I think I'm just gonna wait for af as I'm due next week.

I thought you said you were due on any day and not next week op? A week is a big difference in fertile window.
Also, like many have said before, take a test to put your mind at ease.
The pain could be pregnancy related, could be gas related if you're not walking or moving much, could be something more, could be endo symptoms, the list goes on.
And although the symptoms may not be your 'normal' , our cycles can still throw a curve ball every now and again, especially if you're an "older' woman

I thought I was due on any day, but it's Monday I'm due on, so not long to go.

Having symptoms over a week before your period isn’t usual. In order for symptoms to occur there has to be enough hormones available to cause them. If you started getting symptoms 9 days before your period is due it’s unlikely to be pregnancy related. There just wouldn’t be enough hormones yet. And if you do think there’s enough hormones to cause symptoms for the last 9 days, there would be more than enough to show up on a test.
