Hi, I did a pregnancy test this morning 8dpo. I left the test on the side and looked after 10 minutes. Does this look positive or like an evaporation line? The line is very faint. It is pink but my camera changes the colour

I would never trust these tests, every time I take one it’s positive😂 try a clear blue ultra early or boots early test xx

After 10 minutes you would have to discount it. The reason they say not to read results after time specified is so you don’t get your hopes up after getting a false positive. Re test in a couple of days using FMU & set a timer to read the test by.

I have had previous false positives with these tests in the past but the lines are usually thinner. I've also had confirmed positives with them but I still don't trust them so I will definitely leave it a couple more days.

Are any tests reliable these dayss . I have had to faint lines on the ultra early clear blues and everyone has told me that they give off fake positives🙈🤯 at this point I wonder if a digital would just be better x

I have always had faint lines with my previous pregnancies using the same tests. This would be baby number 5. I had an early miscarriage around a year ago, my HCG dropped then continued rising so I'm a bit wary to believe it until I get the positive on a digital. The previous false positives I had dried into thin evaporation lines but this one hasn't so I'm more hopeful. I thought I could see the line developing when I first did the test but then I did leave it past the 10 minutes

Today's test. I think this is an evaporation line though. I could have my dpo wrong as I ovulated around a week late this cycle so my period is already late because of this. I think I'll leave it till the weekend now instead of driving myself crazy

I can see a line too but also don’t trust these as I did two which had a faint line , but wasn’t pregnant!
the other one looks positive though, maybe do a digital? X

I've had lines like this with these tests when I have been pregnant and when I haven't. I'll take a digital test at the weekend as I think that's when my period would be due. I've fallen pregnant in the first month of trying with my last two pregnancies so it's maybe wishful thinking this time.

I just caved and took another test. This line appeared within ten minutes but the picture is taken at ten 🤞🏼

Can I ask how long after potential implantation are you taking tests? My two are teenagers now and although I'm still quite young, I can't remember when is best to take a test, I think I might be having implantation bleeding. So I just wondered how long you have waited, thanks

Hi, I started testing far too early. I ovulated around a week late this cycle. I actually thought I was out because I had a negative digital test on Thursday then a bit of pink blood on Friday. I wouldn't start testing till at least 10dpo because I've wasted a lot of money on pregnancy tests.

I don't know the exact date my period was due as I ovulated around a week late but I didn't use ovulation tests so can't be exact. I had spotting the day before I thought my period would be due. I also have two teenagers and testing seemed a lot easier back then
