Hi all, I am so keen to get pregnant but feel sure tonight that I have probably ruined this month as I have been doing weights, squats, jogging, picking up my toddler, am sleep deprived etc. Can anyone give me positive stories where they have done the same and still conceived? Wondering whether to cut the exercise out from next month atleast. Thanks

In the nicest way possible, dont be an idiot.
I conceived my dc2 and a surprise pregnancy while working out, lifting heavy, running, renovating a house, childcare etc.

None of that will reduce your chance of conceiving especially of its something you would regularly do x

Thank you @LaTable. Ha, I appreciate the bluntness. I know you're right deep down but am overthinking.

I'm now 16 weeks pregnant and my toddler has been biffing me in the belly from pre conception onwards! I also indoor climb and continued to do that during the TTW. From what I've heard it's very hard for outside factors to interrupt the conception process once it's started. I'm sure your exercise will make no difference either way :) I totally understand the anxiety though!

Was doing bi-weekly HIIT workouts desperately trying to lose some of the two stone I gained in my first pregnancy, running around after my 2 year old, getting practically drop-kicked by her daily and although still early days for me implantation certainly happened. Once ovulation has happened the rest is out of your hands. Everything about my lifestyle suggests I shouldn’t have fallen if there was anything more to it really than dumb luck most of the time.

Thank you so much @Elz1406 and @Groundhogday2025. Congratulations, that's really good to know! I don't know what is going on with my cycle this month as I'm only 9 days after ovulation but I keep having weird cramps and am very bloated so I'm not sure if I'm going to come on my period early but it reassures me for future months at-least :-)

I conceived my first while training for a marathon so absolutely pushing my body to the limits. These things will not affect conception, don’t stress yourself out
