after begging my GP on bended knee (nearly!) he has referred me to a fertility specialist at the hospital (hurrah!!)

However before this he said my blood test results showed I had very high levels of estrogen which he said was good .....however I know he's not great at this fertility stuff (have mentioned on here before he told me a HPT can tell if you're pregnant from ovulation ) I am sure I read somewhere on here that high estrogen levels are actually bad in fertility terms

Are there any experts about who can advise (Attila over here!!)

TIA

xx

How high was this level, do you know?. Would not just look at estrogen on its own, other hormone levels like progesterone, LH and FSH need to be looked at as well. Also such hormones need to be looked at ideally on a regular basis.

He didnt say just said its very high. The form/bag thing they put your blood sample in that was filled in by the nurse said "estrogen" on it so I dont think they checked for anything else. Oh well I think the hospital will either explain or do the tests again when I go at the end of the month!

Thanks for all your help
