Hi I'm TTC for the first time, I'm 22 and I'm just wondering if my health down there will affect anything? I've been to the gp about vaginal dryness (always been bone dry even when ovulating) and I have reoccurring thrush. I've never had the clear egg white sign of ovulation. Is this a problem? I'm thinking maybe I have something wrong with me or my hormones and as I'm trying for the first time next month I just want to be a bit more aware. Will my mucus kill off sperm because it's imbalanced maybe?? Thank you x

I just want to say that my gp said there's nothing wrong because I'm young and some people are just naturally dry.... I don't think I believe that because if someone has to live their life moisturising and using thrush cream surely something is up?? I use a very good lube and don't wash with crazy soap I've followed everything and take vitamins but nothing helps!

Hello! I never got EWCM, I take evening primrose oil from about cycle day 3 up to ovulation, then stop taking it. I've noticed a different in my CM! I also use preseed as it comes with applicators. Make sure your lube is fertility friendly otherwise it can kill off the sperm 😁.

Thanks for replying ☺️ I use the YES water based but as we are trying for the first time next month I've ordered some preseed! I'm not sure if my normal is friendly enough though it's the only lube that doesn't bring on thrush 😂 im taking those centrum conceive vitamins but I'll have a look into the primrose oil!!

I had the same issue Sept-Jan. I started drinking pink grapefruit juice for the Feb cycle as recommended here and it could be a complete coincidence but a very noticeable difference!

Hello lovely
i have had the same issue , it started after my first baby at 17 when as a teen I had HEAPS of ewcm and discharge to the point I remember googling if it was too much 🫢

then after my first baby I have none , I went on to conceive 2 more babies and couple mcs. I’m now closer to 30 and hormone tests all fine, estrigen high range but I still don’t get ewcm. I think it can affect fertility sometimes but it’s not a major issue, conceive plus will help you as it preserves sperm instead of killing them off!! I bought it ready to try for baby no4. I also have had scans etc at drs as my periods went irregular after a baby and I was told everything boringly normal and then at times enlarged ovaries / maybe pcos . But don’t worry! Honestly I felt so alone as I’d got used to having lots of ewcm and then panicking something was wrong. I conceived one of my children when I didn’t get ewcm so please don’t worry x
