EWCM but -ive OV tests

Title says it all really

I'm on CD17, EWCM for 2 days but still no +ive OV test. Been testing since CD 9 due to previous cycles. Am getting the faint lines but not getting any stronger. Any ideas peeps???

Hi, the ov test sticks tests LH level in your urine. there is always a low level of LH in our bodies at all times. but prior to ov, there is a surge. if you are getting a faint one, that will be just normal i think.

how long are your cycles normally?

Thanks Heron, I'm just confused with the EWCM as I thought that was a fairly good indication that I was about to OV. But obviously not according to the tests Oh well, guess I will just persevere with the daily testing :-S

Are you getting any other ovulation signs? - I often get ovulation pain on the right or left side of my groin and I feel more horny!
aside from that I found that daily temperature taking was the most accurate way of getting a history of when I ovulated in previous months aswell. hope this helps
