How reliable are clear blue week indicators?

Hoping people can share some stories. I was expecting to see 2-3 weeks as I am 16DPO so technically 4 weeks today. Feeling a little deflated as last pregnancy always a MMC. Can anyone share their stories? Thank you xxx

They're really not as clear cut as that as they go off HCG levels and are only a rough estimate based on average HCG levels expected by certain weeks but obviously the window of normal range is quite big. At 4 weeks you're def still in the 1-2 weeks range anyway as covers 3-4 weeks and wouldn't just jump to 2-3 as soon as you hit 4. I get it though, I've been there myself and stressed myself out when not progressing through the weeks when I expected. If you are going to do another one I'd wait at least a week so you don't freak yourself out again. But for now you're definitely pregnant - congrats!

@MummyV2021 thank you so much. I guess I need to wait now 🤞🏼🤍 this waiting game after miscarriage is so painfully long and stressful.

That's great! Are you having another one done in 48 hours?? I completely understand, and so sorry for your loss. I had a chemical and early MC before getting my sticky rainbow baby who's now 3 and I don't think I relaxed until the 20 weeks scan, despite multiple tests and private scans - they only reassured me briefly! Be kind to yourself and try to find ways that work for you to relax and try to enjoy it. That's a big regret of mine is not being able to find the joy in my pregnancy. I've just got my BFP at 10DPO today after yet another chemical and early MC so already anxious! Sending baby dust and hoping this is your sticky bean for you!

They were accurate for me personally but I know a few they haven't been for

I had my beta hcg done every 48hrs and this was the results (I'm 37 weeks now btw and due to have little one in 2 weeks!)

3w6 - 96
4w1 - 244
4w3 - 630

They were looking for it to double every 48hrs to indicate a positive outcome and it worked out for me.

@anonny55 huge congratulations and hope all goes away with your little ones arrival. Thank you for sharing, I had my beta today at 4w exactly and it was 290, so hoping by 4w2 it’ll be double. I can’t understand why my test is only 1-2 if beta is over 150. X

@MummyV2021 yes I am having a second one on Wednesday so I have everything crossed. I’ve been ttc 6 years and don’t have a child, just so so desperate for it to work. Congrats on your bfp!! That’s super exciting!! ❤️❤️ keep me posted x

That seems promising! We were ttc for 4 years and this is our first baby too. Fingers crossed for you. It's such a hard road🤞🏽🤍
