I am due to have a 21 day blood test to see if i'm ovulating.
All it says on the blood test form is that they are investigating progesterone levels.
I had one of these tests years ago and i thought i remebered having to fast for the test and having to have the blood taken before 9am.

Please help.x

No you don't need to fast for a day 21 test and it does not need to be done before 9.00am.

The day 21 is a standard blood test done to measure progesterone levels. A level of 30 or more is a good result.

BTW have they also checked your LH and FSH levels; these are usually tested earlier in the cycle. If these are awry chances are that the progesterone level will be low too.

Thanks for the info Atilla.
I have had the test done earlier so will hope for a result more than 30.
They haven't done any other checks yet.I had a laproscopy done in Dec to reomved a choc cyst but it grew back straight away!
They are pushing me to have another one done after a 2 month course of injections.
I have told them i'm ttc so woul like to leave it for as long as the pain is bearable.
Will ask fir the LH and FSH levels to be checked.
