I had a faint positive pregnancy test and then tested again about 45 mins later and negative

What does this mean? 😢 Not sure if I can add pictures but have a picture of the positive test

Probably too soon to tell - however it is very rare to have a false positive. When I was pregnant with my second the first test was negative. Is your period late?

My cycles have been a bit up and down the last few. So I think it is late. Used to be regular 28day cycles but last month my cycle was 40 days and so far I am on day 36. Had some spotting and really didn't expect to see a faint line on the test, the second time I took test which was less than an hour later my urine was almost clear so unsure if it was just too dilated but I'm terrified about getting my hopes up

I understand. Unfortunately I think you might have to wait a couple of days and try again. As I said with my second I did a test was negative and I waited another 3 days and did another one and that was a clear positive. Good luck.
