Hi,

I am 10 days late on my period (I've never been this late; never skipped and always been regular)

I am still testing negative - could I still be pregnant? I've tried ever brand of test, always in the morning when I know HcG is at its highest. Should I give up?

Hi lovely, there's no late
Period as such, it's always late ovulation as the luteal phase (after ovulation) is always the same length every cycle. Have you tracked ovulation with strip tests ? (Apps aren't accurate they just do predictions !) if so, when did you ovulate ?
Fingers crossed for you ! 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼

Hi!
I didn't check ovulation with a strip, I've been paying for a subscription with Flo... which has always predicted my period and it has always been on point!

Can I still check ovulation or is this too late now? This is our first time trying for a baby and can't keep up with all the different things it could be or what I need to do... thanks for replying x

No worries girl, I'm not the most knowledgeable person but I have learnt a few things along the road !
Ok so, the best is to use ovulation sticks, you have to use them twice a day from let's say day 10 of your cycle until you see that the test line is as dark as the control line. In a nutshell, It would mean that the LH level in your blood is peaking, and that your ovary is ready to release an egg within 24/48 hours.
I usually use pre mum tests that I buy on Amazon and I log them in the premom app which is a free app.
( have a little bit of Google about it but it is very straight forward!).
The test would always have 2 lines, the peak will be when the line is very dark.

I usually have 30/32 days cycles, and I ovulate on CD19. I have learnt this with the strips as flo was just predicting things based on average women cycle but we are all so different !

I hope this helps ?
I will enclose an example of my tests logged in the premom app in my next post to show you what it looks like.
I hope it helps !

Thank you so much for this.

In terms of this cycle, should I just give up hope that I could be pregnant? I'm feeling ever so low when I keep getting negative results... :(

I would also pay attention to your discharge. Your body should tell you when you ovulate based on your discharge - when you start to get egg white cervical mucus (consistency) it means you are in your fertile period.
This combined with a high LH level should help you pin pointing when to DTD.
DTD for a few days before ovulation gives your the best chances at conceiving .
☺️

It's impossible to say whether you have a chance or not as idk when you ovulated, you likely haven't if period is late with negative pregnancy test maybe order some OPK and test your lH ?
When your next period comes I would definitely
Track your LH levels from day 10 of your cycle until you get a positive OPK 🤞🏼
