Could this actually be my positive?

I've been posting on here for a while, but I've been stung by so many evaps in recent cycles. Ttc 2 years. Did a test yesterday evening and got a squinter, but didn't want to think much of it incase it was yet another evap. I did another this morning and there was a line. Faint, but definitely there. And did another after that with a 3 hour hold, and again another line. No idea where I am in my cycle as I didn't track at all this time. My cycles are considered abnormal as they range from 12-60 days long. Can anyone else see it? I'm hoping it's finally the start of something, but not holding my breath just yet

I can definitely see something!!! I can see colour too, so no obvious signs of an evap to me! Test again in a day or two maybe and hope for a stronger line. Tentative congratulations OP!!

Any clue at all where you are in your cycle? When was your last period?

There's definitely a line there but it's very faint so you may need to wait a few days for a definite. Good luck!

My last period was 3/1, but it was a few weeks of spotting rather than an actual period. I've done another (posted above) which I don't even need to squint to see. Definitely a pink line there, so I'm hoping to see a stronger one tomorrow

Negative this morning. So leaning towards another chemical, or knowing my luck, more evaps 😪Having had 3 faint positives and nothing this morning doesn't fill me with much hope..

Oh I'm so sorry. How sensitive are those tests? Would it be worth trying a frer?

They're meant to be very sensitive. AF arrived today so yet again I've been stung by more evaps! 😫

@Crazyfarmgirl i saw a line there but I have also been stung so many times with those tests that I will not allow myself to get my hopes up until it’s a better test confirming- so sorry 😔
they are either so sensitive they are detecting a tiny bit of hgc and it’s not implanting, or they are just bad for false lines. I’m not sure which it is but I use them with caution now

I agree, I'm sure I read that we always have around 5hcg in our urine anyway.. I could be wrong though with all the stuff I'm reading lately!! 🙈

@Crazyfarmgirl I am sorry it's another month of disappointing results. I wonder if it would help you to test only if your periods don't arrive so you can avoid extra stress/uncertainty.

@woodpeckersounds this is what I have read online as well. It says

Healthy, non-pregnant women have serum hCG levels < 5 IU/L. Serum hCG values > 25 IU/L indicate pregnancy. Levels between 5 and 25 IU/L often indicate early pregnancy, but results need to be interpreted cautiously because false positive results can occur in this range.
