Hey all.
so I had a chemical on 20th December following an ivf transfer. Using those dates I would be 6 weeks today. However, went to the EPAU for an early scan and as soon as I waking it the sonographer said ‘I don’t think your going to see what you want today, with your last cycle bleed being a chemical I don’t think you’ll be as far as you think’ low and behold she couldn’t see anything on the scan other than a small fluid sac that she thought might be the start of something. Iv had my hcg taken and awaiting the results but needed to mentally prepare for it being negative so came home and took a test and it was a dye stealer.
she said what she would see on the scan would be suggestive of a 2-3 week pregnancy. But last time we dtd was 11th Jan and got a positive on 21st Jan. very confused. I also have a retroverted uterus which Iv read could make scans more dofficult to see. Am I just hoping for a miracle here? Should I prepare for the worst?
