In November I found out I have a Uterine Polyp and Fibroid both are small. My GP referred me to Gynae and today my referral has been reviewed. They are not concerned but have advised that I take Progesterone from Cycle day 14 and get rescanned afterwards.
My GP has prescribed me Norethisterone, everything I read online suggests that it is used to delay periods and as a contraceptive. I cannot find anything which says it is used for shrinking Fibroids or Polyps? Before I go back to the GP has anyone used it for this purpose?
