IUI success

Hi

I am looking into IUI and wondered for those who have had the treatment what your success rate was, i.e how many attempts before you were successful? For context, I am a 35 year old woman, healthy BMI and have had one previous successful pregnancy 10 years ago.

Was 25 with first round of iui which was successful.
Then had 7 rounds (although one got stopped due to overstimulation) of iui between age 27 and 30 and conceived dt on 7th round.

I was 30 when i had iui with my first and got pregnant on the first attempt. We then did iui again with our 2nd and got pregnant on the 1st attempt and it turned out to be our 3rd aswell as we got twins

so very successful for us 2 iui’s 3 babies

@Diamondrainbow35 I think a lot of people do IUI because they can't get their heads around IVF which seems very extreme and ugly and "not how you want to have a baby". That's how I felt anyway.

I can't comment on IUI but if you are motivated by trying to avoid IVF then I would say I didn't find it as bad as I feared and it gave me 2 kids. So do consider doing IVF if the stats work better for your situation. This stuff is all so hard.
