14DPO vvfl but BFP?!

Help!
im going out of my mind and i know that only waiting and seeing how it goes is the logical answer.
I’ve gotten my first ever BFP after almost 4years of TTC and various fertility treatments.
I ovulated naturally much earlier in my cycle than I usually would and my luteal is usually 11/12 days so to get to 14DPO is a fair miracle too. I may be 13dpo but shouldn’t be more off than that.
even though I’m getting positives, the lines are SO faint but there and pink!!!
looking for a hand hold, advice, your experiences, all of it!

Congratulations! Test again in 48 hours and you'll see the line progression.

MyUmberSeal · 29/01/2025 08:43

Congratulations. That test is positive!!
As above, do another test in a day or two and it will be darker. Try to relax and keep yourself busy over the next few days, don’t drive yourself crazy, testing 10 times a day and symptom spotting etc. This is fab news, congrats again. x

tillybud89 · 29/01/2025 09:42

Can I jump on? That's looks positive to me!
I'm 13dpo and trying for baby 3. This is only 3rd cycle but felt so different this month. Felt AF is coming and had nothing but BFNs so far. This morning glimmer of hope but now I look again it looks like an evap as its thin. Although has a pinky tinge to it? Or am I clutching at straws 🙈

@tillybud89 i can definitely see a line- is there colour on the line?

thanks for the reassurance @Chanel05 @MyUmberSeal - it’s so hard to believe this could be the real thing.

Until the line is darker or until I do a digital I don’t think I can let myself get happy. I keep thinking my body is tricking me and everytime I go to the loo I expect to see blood. Maybe when I get towards the end of the week (if the line is still there) I will start to believe it :-(

@UserL95 yeah pink but done a Frer and nothing so think I'm out. My 1st took a long time as I have partially blocked tubes. 2nd was a very happy accident but that was 5 years ago now and I have no idea what state my tubes are in
They won't do anything until we've been trying for 6months .

Your line should definitely start getting darker soon huge congratulations x

Hi OP, this looks positive ! Fingers crossed it gets darker! Remember hcg doubles every couple of days so it's normal it's not darker
Immediately
:)

overthinkersanonnymus · 30/01/2025 15:37

Did you have a negative at 13dpo or did you just test at 14?

It's fairly light, but not ridiculously so. Lot's of people say implantation might not happen until 12dpo, and if that's your case, it's only been attached a couple of days.

I'll keep my fingers crossed you start getting darker lines in the next few days x

UserL95 · 30/01/2025 20:20

Thanks for the support guys I appreciate it so much!!

@overthinkersanonnymus i tested late at night on 13dpo not expecting anything at all then 14DPO and 15dpo are both fmu although my dating may be off by 1 day potentially so the most recent may be 15dpo.

also had a beta hcg done today so hoping for good news

Hi lovely, I feel like testing everyday can take a lot of one's mental health, especially when a stick does not tell you your hormone level. I would definitely go for bloods and try and take a step back, this line is a clear line in my opinion ☺️ I know it's easier said than done of course (and I'd probs be the same as you when I am pregnant !) good luck xx

tillybud89 · 31/01/2025 08:35

@UserL95 lines still look good! Worth getting bloods for reassurance??
So I'm now 15dpo and no sign of AF but had cramps last 2 days and yesterday morning and this morning blobby pinky mucus! Could this be implantation?

UserL95 · 31/01/2025 08:48

l@Lila34830 I keep telling myself to stop but I think I’d be even more anxious than I already am!!

I have done a beta yesterday just waiting on results

@tillybud89 this sounds positive!!! Keeping my fingers crossed for you

OP posts:
overthinkersanonnymus · 31/01/2025 09:23

I think that line looks darker than yesterday's!

I'd be testing like mad as well, so I'm not going to say stop testing, but maybe just sit with the thought "today, i am pregnant" and take each day as it comes x

Lila34830 · 31/01/2025 09:33

Fingers crossed for your results let us know !!! 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼

UserL95 · 31/01/2025 09:44

@overthinkersanonnymus literally love that advice so much! And will work on telling myself that. I am pregnant. I am pregnant. I am pregnant!!!

To anyone wondering, I got my bloods back from 30/1 which would have been 14/15dpo. Beta hcg 25 progesterone 43.5. Beta is on the lower side but anything above 9 is classed as pregnant. Had repeat bloods today will be praying that the beta doubles 🙏 if it does then I will book in another beta!! Lines still fainter than I would like but I got my 1-2 weeks pregnant on digital which made it feel so much more real too!

hope you are all well

Hi @UserL95 I know this is a few months old but wondered if you could share the outcome of this please ? 👏 I'm going through the same and my lines are similar to yours.

Sparkle880 · 06/07/2025 12:42

@UserL95 i am in a really similar situation right now do you have any updates i really hope it was positive for you x

UserL95 · 13/07/2025 16:54

Hi everyone, this pregnancy ended in loss at 6 weeks. My hcg didn’t progress well and betas remained low. Wishing you all luck
