Absolute headfudge.... Positive and negative tests

Hello all, can anyone help here?
I had a miscarriage September last year and since then we've been tracking ovulation and actively trying each month.

I'm due on tomorrow or the following day. Today (albeit not FMU) I got a very faint positive test, but I'd been testing on the run up and nothing at all before that, with my other pregnancies I'd see a line a good 5/6 days before period due.

The line on the first test came up right away but doesn't have much colour to it.
I did a digital right after and it's saying not pregnant.

I've done yet another this afternoon after holding a wee for 4 hours and it's a faint positive bit only half a line!!!! Wtf?!

I've put the photos here so you can see. I'm currently either 12/13 DPO.

Discount half a line tests as invalid

So I've had two duff ones in one day? They're not from the same pack, or even the same type

unfortunately at this incredibly early stage… take the negatives over the positive

when are you due?

Coffeeguru81 · 26/01/2025 17:13

Oh sorry due tomorrow
wait a day or two and retest

sel2223 · 26/01/2025 18:19

This is why I never test until I've missed a period by a couple of days.
Hope you get the result you want

I've not been able to resist..... I've done a third test, surely 3, from 3 completely different purchases, can't all be wrong..... Fingers crossed that line darkens up over the next few days.

I'd say this looks fine for 12/13DPO. That's still really early and I don't think you should be too concerned at this stage.

nopenotplaying · 27/01/2025 15:42

I see it. Can you get a digital or pink dye test?

Itonlytakesone · 27/01/2025 16:21

From my complete obsessiveness over my own tests lately, do these look too faint for when you are due on? Could indicate chemical? Like iv just had😢

The very next day I got a "pregnant" on digital, phew! I was really struggling with negative every month after the miscarriage

I'm so sorry, it's devastating to have it ripped away. I've got everything crossed for you next cycle.

That was my concern to be honest, I've got three children already and hadn't ever had a loss, it knocked me for six when I lost the fourth at 11 weeks.

I've tested again yesterday and today and they're getting darker so I'm feeling positive. I always test early, I like to know as soon as I possibly can, just how I am. It's never been this late with the others, but, I suppose I could have only implanted a few days ago...... Fingers crossed. I'll be able to relax after 12 weeks hopefully.
