1DPO pregnant?

posting on behalf of my friend, she’s currently been TTC however her partner has been away all week and only came home yesterday which was 1DPO, she had ewcm on Wednesday evening - Friday morning and did the deed Friday morning when he arrived home. Her last period was the 9th Jan and is usually 28 days but her last period was 29 days. So with her EWCM starting on Wednesday she believes she may of ovulated on Thursday this is also what flo thinks.
Does anyone think she’s in with a shot this month? I’ve told her not to get her hopes up too much but wanted peoples thoughts?

Generally speaking, 1DPO is too late; the sperm need to be there waiting to meet the egg

But since your friend doesn’t know for sure when she ovulated, there’s always a chance and she will have to wait and see!

My surprise pregnancy was what I assumed was a day after ovulation. But clearly I ovulated later than I thought....
Also there is a small possibility that she could have caught the very last 24 hours an egg can survive,
