Hi
I’ve recently in November had my coil removed and I’m Ttc. Last month I ovulated but came on my period , I’m now on day 24 of this cycle and I’ve had 3 high fertility smilies on my test but no peak. Have I missed ovulation? It should have been day 19 or before as my cycle last month was 33 days?

I just had sex every single day lol!!! And it happened pretty fast that way !!

Yeah that’s not possible for me and my partner and don’t want to really! Lol just wondering how long it has taken some people after coil removal and if others have had really late ovulation

It’s very normal for your periods to take a few months to settle into a regular pattern after coil removal, so I wouldn’t get too hung up on how many days your cycle was last month vs this month for at least 3 months ish. X

I got my IUD (Mirena) out after having one in for 8 years. It takes a little time for your body to settle into its new rhythm. For me my cycles have been Irregular since removal but starting to settle back into my normal 28 day cycle. Didn't get first AF for nearly 2mths after getting it out. Then a 30 day cycle, then 25 day cycle...
OPK cheapie strips, cm monitoring, bbt and using the FF app have helped me see what's going on.

I'd personally not be using ovulation sticks at this point - you've only just had a coil removed, it can take a few months for cycles to settle.
Just enjoy time with your DH, have sex every few days, don't put pressure on yourself or DH to have sex on "the right" days.
Chances are you won't be fertile a few days after your period finishes, and a few days before your period is due, so just have sex every couple of days for those 2 weeks ish in the middle.

I got my peak smiley this morning was super happy. I actually find it helpful and comforting knowing I’m ovulating. Must just be a long cycle this month. Unfortunately I can’t have sex every other day with my partner due to his work shift patterns so really helpful to know when our window is , but get others might find that stressful xx

ladies can anyone help? I’m a day after ovulation ( I had 5 high days then 2 peak days) and I’ve woken up to really light bleeding. No period cramps or head ache which I always get … really confused. Can this be my period?!

Yes, it could be @Jayderd as others have said, it can take quite a while for everything to settle down.

I have ovulated whilst on a period before when my cycle was messed up due to a miscarriage and D&C. Hormones can do all sorts of odd things. Then I had another period 18 days later. My cycles are usually 25-27 days.

The only thing you can really do it wait it out. It's super frustrating, but nothing to be done until everything settles.

Jayderd · 28/01/2025 09:51

Yes, so it’s definitely a period as it’s heavy and red but I’m so confused because ovulation tests were high all week plus I did ovulation testing two weeks ago and it all came back low so maybe I didn’t ovulate this month

Try to get in tune with your body a bit to anticipate ovulation. Usually you get a change in cervical mucus around ovulation time, and sex drive naturally increases. Let this period go and then listen to your body.
