Ovulation 4 days early

Hello everyone. I only started trying for a baby a couple of months ago so I'm still very new to this.
I tracked my ovulation last month using strip tests, and whilst the lines got darker over a few days, I never got a really strong line.

I just tested today for this cycle and got the strongest line - same colour as the control line. However, according to my period tracking app, I'm not due to ovulate for another 4 days.

Does this mean I'm actually ovulating now? I never got pregnant last month so I'm thinking maybe I missed the ovulation window before.

If you’ve got same colour as the control line it means you’ve got your peak which means you’ll probably ovulate in 24-48hrs time. Best time to get dtd is now!

the 24-48hrs can be shorter/longer but generally online I’ve read ovulation happens between 24-48hrs after the peak LH test.

The period tracking apps can only guess your ovulation, so I’d say you’re more than likely going to ovulate in the next day if you’ve got a positive test

I use the Premom OPKs and ovulated on CD12 this month when I usually ovulate on CD15. I would trust the result on your OPK rather than the app and you’ll likely ovulate in the next day or so.
