Right, not going to test until AF due, not going to obsess over sore boobs, not going to think about baby names, not going to give up alcohol. Anyone want to join me in pretending to not obsess about symptoms/lack of?

Am concerned. I think I have cystitis. For the last couple of days I have elt like I want to wee all the time but haven't had any pain. However, I just went to the loo and tried to pee and got that painful drawing in you get with cystitis. I also had a pinkish stain when I wiped.

I have had cystitis about 3 times in the last year, once I had to go and get anti-biotics but teh other times I just used those sachets and drank loads of cranberry juice.

I've had a check for chlamydia and a general round of tests done to look for anything which may be causing infection and it was all clear.

Are some people just more likely to get Cystitis or could it be having so much sex?

I think it could be the frequency of sex. Also I think it could be the amount of time before, erm, cleaning up. When we're not TTC, I run to the bathroom, but if we are, I try to stay for as long as I can. I heard that that can cause irritation or infection. But I'm no doctor! You should probably get checked out.

I thought this might be the case.
I have had checks in the last few months but am a bit woried that the infection is making me bleed a bit.

As I'm not used to being at a "past ovulation" stage in my cycles I was wondering if it is normal to get shooting pains though your nipples? My left one gave me such a shock earlier, like throbbing shooting pains. Only for about 10-15 seconds though. I'm sure it's nothing, I just notice every bloody thing at the moment!

I think I ovulated on Friday 2nd or Sat 3rd so really I am only 5 DPO. I would love to think 'ooh it's implantation' but I have had cystitis and pinkish stains on the loo paper at the same time before so I think it's just that

Ovulation was on day 15/16 of a 24 day cycle so I am due to get my period sunday/monday/tuesday I guess.

FruityNutty I get what I call twinges in my boobs when I am around ovulation. It's only something I have noticed recently though!

Ooooh, Fruity me too! I remember when I was pregnant last time that my breasts were really sore. I'm kicking myself for not paying more last month (which was our first month post mc and we were not TTCing) to compare what it's like when I KNOW I'm not pg. But this time, my boobs are out of control. Not just sore, they actually hurt! and I get weird pains in my nipples - especially if they brush up against something...and we're both 7dpo. Coincidence?

Interesting PrePG My actual breasts are fine, not sore but I just got that weird electricity shock type throbbing through my nipple this morning. Fine now.
I really really dont wanna start symptom spotting. I'm just amazed I actually o'd this time round. If I'am preg too it really would be the icing on the cake as my original plan was to get preg by May so I have the baby and lose the weight before my wedding next Aug, I just assumed I was bound to fall preg within 9 months - I had no idea about the PCOS. But, really, if I'm not preg, I wont be overly surprised, just very happy I managed to Ovulate all by myself

Beanie - I think it probably is too much BD! I think peeing beforehand is supposed to help as well as after....
I know we're not supposed to be symptom spotting but odd things in nipples and breasts often seem to be a good sign!
(I'm also 7dpo and have my usual no breasts to speak of, no symptoms thing going on, so have just eaten a lot of illegal french runny cheese)

Well - the pinkish blood has stopped and so now obviously I am getting my hopes up that it was implantation not a urine infection. BAH!

I think I am destined to be disappointed, though one question - your pee comes out of a different place doesn't it? To where spotting would come from?

im also 7DPO n=and FF is tellin me to test on the 18th may so im hopin to hold out til then but il prob crack and test in a few days!! i had a chemical preg/v. early MC last cycle and i oved really late this cycle (CD20) so im not holding out much hope so i dont get too disappointed if/when AF arrives oh and BTW... im TTC#2 i have a 2.4 YO DD and iv been TTC for 6 cycles and im CD27

Thanks all - I am pleased for best friend, obviously, and have def hidden not beig so from her and been approproately delighted, but think it may be showing in other ways eg being horrid to dh.

Had lots of discharge today - left wet patch on my knickers. could this be a sign? or maybe hot weather made me sweaty (tmi!) Am also very thirsty. Though could also be hot weather!!!
