Saliva fertility tracking

I’ve been having trouble with OPKS. Either I’m not ovulating (which may be possible as I’m not falling preggo despite DTD all the time!) or I’m not catching my peaks on the strips.
So I’ve just bought one of those saliva ones where it should tell you if you’re fertile depending on what pattern you see in the microscope.
anyone have any experiences of these? Positive or negative.

I used one of these (Calista I think) from the age of 26 to 40 and never had an unwanted pregnancy but it wouldn't have been a disaster if I had. I was very careful though that if there was any doubt of the reading I'd abstain but generally the changes are very obvious and actually very pretty, like ice ferns! I went onto the pill at 40 because the women in my family tend to have early menopause and my periods were getting a bit irregular. I'd say if your periods are very regular and you use it properly it could be a good choice.

Obviously if you're using it to see when you are fertile you'd use it the opposite way to me!

Thanks for your reply @CourageCamille sounds like it worked for you if you used it to prevent pg for so long! I was reading that it works by detecting your salt levels in your saliva - is it impacted if you’ve eaten a salty meal? I feel like it must be, but it wouldn’t be accurate if it was surely!

Only if you've done the test immediately after eating, I think. I did it in the mornings first thing, and last thing at night.
