LH Test Strips staying the same

Good evening,

I was wondering if anyone had any experiences getting pregnant when their LH strip tests remained very similar line each day?

This is my first month testing, from day 12 of my cycle I have been testing three times a day and seems to be no change. There is always a very obvious line. Have attached a photo.

thank you in advance for your help xx

Hi! I would suggest downloading an app like Pre mom. It’s free and log all of your tests in there. Try to take the pictures in the same spot / lighting for consistency. How long are your cycles usually? My cycle is usually 25-29 days. I tend to ovulate around CD12. I’ve seen others on here as late as CD24! So keep testing until you find your peak x

Personally I would recommend testing twice a day, once first thing and again in the evening after a good hold. I have one child but he was a surprise baby so I didn’t use OPKs then. I have been trying for my second for over a year now and using OPKS for almost the same amount of time. Your last two tests are looking like they are getting darker. There will always be a second line but you want the test line to be darker than the control line to signal your ‘peak’. It’s important to keep testing regularly as you may have a short LH peak (as I do). I tested negative yesterday and blazing positive today! I’ve attached a pic which will hopefully help you see what kind of line you are looking for x

Even if your cycle is 28 days, you could have just not ovulated yet if you have a short luteal phase. Keep testing, if it stays the same up until AF, you might have something like PCOS which can give higher LH all month

OPs tests are negative, they don’t indicate high LH yet. The LH hormone is always present in urine throughout the cycle but in small amounts and there will always be a line (sometime v faint) but it will get darker as the fertile window approaches.

Yes LH is always there and these aren't positive, that's why I said they could just not have ovulated yet. But I meant if lines stay the same, can indicate lack of ovulation, which can be caused by things like PCOS.

Ah great news, hopefully you get a peak test today! It’s fustrating when they don’t seem to be moving at all🤣xx

I don’t usually ovulate until day cd20-22. Do you continue to test until later days in the cycle. It could just be too early
